Shower Troubles
Mar. 10th, 2006 09:59 amSo we moved last weekend or at least most of our stuff, us and the animals moved. The new house is pretty nice, the upstairs tenets are a little noisy (and Mom is yelling at me to be quiet) but everything else is fine. Other than that, we've been there almost a week and don't have cable or net which is driving me nuts but that will be fixed today.
So last nite after work, we went up to the old house and met Andi and Jim there to get our desks. I had to get mine so my computer could be set up for today and Mom just wanted hers. So after we got them set up, I went back out to get gloves for Gramma and my tape from Muncle since I can tape it tonight and dinner. I got three blocks from CVS and Gramma called and said never mind. Oy, sometimes that woman drives me nuts. So I drove over to Muncle's to get the tape and back past the house to A&P to get dinner. Once I got home, while I ate, I set up the computer and then moved some boxes around. Then I decided to hang my shower curtian. I got it all up and was so excited to take a shower that I got all my bathroom stuff from Mom's bathroom and then went in mine.
So I washed my hair and put conditioner in, then soaped up the upper half of my body. I leaned over to soap my legs, resting my foot on the side of the tub like always...and the whole curtian, shower rod, and hooks came down on my head! I shut off the water really fast and then started yelling for Mom because I couldn't get the rod back up. She finally came in after about ten screams and we still couldn't get it up. So she says to me (and mind you I am still dripping soap) "Were you done with your shower?" I said no so she sent me into her bathroom to finish.
After that little incident I just decided to go to bed.
So work today and then over to Gramma's and/or Muncle's to get the staple gun than home. Hopefully I will be cable ready before five but I should definately have it after five.
