Fight Scenes and Women--The Discussions I get into *rolls eyes*

A couple of weeks ago, a friend im'ed me and asked me if fight scenes were hot...once I got clarification (that he was looking for a female opinion of whether or not fight scenes were a turn on), I then had to explain why they were and why I found even staged scenes hot. I finally explained that it wasn't just the actual scene, but the control behind it. And that the ability to take something like this:

And turn it into something like this: (Now I realize that the two scenes do not match up...but no one apparently has the fight scene from "The First David Job" up on youtube so I picked two other scenes with Eliot/Chris and fighting)

The Kitchen Fight Scene--hands down one of the best fight scenes they did in the series

and

Eliot explaining knife usage--this conversation was prompted by Eliot getting Nate to admit that the only thing he thought Eliot knew how to do was bash in heads.

Anyone else have an opinion?

So anyway...yes, guys that can fight...hot...controlled planned fighting on TV...pretty much just as hot if they know what they're doing.

Hot fight scenes?

I never really thought of fight scenes being hot... but I do agree. I particularly like fight scenes with a supernatural twist - it adds that extra element of strength and control if it's done right. And I'm a sucker for vampires... LOL.

But real fights - the kind I see are schoolyard brawls, guys trying to prove their "masculinity" - bore me. They're so immature!

*nods* Although there's a cult movie called Blood Ties that has some really crappy fight scenes. When the actors are trained to fight (like Chris is)--then its good. I've actually seen him fight on some other shows and he does actually know what he's doing. (And he can SING too!)

*rolls eyes* Yes, I hate the stupid fighting--guys or girls--that are school yard brawls. Or the hall fighting that my one girl got into today. And that led to a suspension!
