Okay so for some reason when I went and did all the strike throughs this morning--it f'ed up my entry...so repasting it without them or all the pretties or the cut cuz I gotta get to work...I'll fix it this afternoon...just don't want to lose the entry completely (I'll go back and do the strike throughs later--check the comments for now to see what lines are left):

1.Pick 20 of your favorite movies. 2. Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie. 3. Post them here for everyone to guess. 4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie. 5. NO GOOGLING/using IMDb search or other search functions.

So I was going to pick some really, really obscure movies (cuz those of you who know me, know I love my wacky movies), but then I figured that really wasn't fair. So I've got some obscure ones and some not so obscure ones. :-)

Figured since no one's guessed in a couple of days...y'all have given up.

In fifth grade, I knocked my sister Edie down the stairs and I blamed it on the dog... When my mom sent me to the summer camp for fat kids and then they served lunch I got nuts and I pigged out and they kicked me out... But the worst thing I ever done - I mixed a pot of fake puke at home and then I went to this movie theater, hid the puke in my jacket, climbed up to the balcony and then, t-t-then, I made a noise like this: hua-hua-hua-huaaaaaaa - and then I dumped it over the side, all over the people in the audience. And then, this was horrible, all the people started getting sick and throwing up all over each other. I never felt so bad in my entire life. The Goonies (And I really thought I gave it away with this line--but it took my sister to get it!)

Damn on some of those it was harder to pick a line than a movie!littleowl1 number 10 is for you. eaglesis40  number 15 is for you. :-D

So I guess another couple of days and then I'll post the ones nobody got.

It is a running gag. And I said not necessarily cuz I wasn't really thinking of a particular movie. So that one works as well as any other.

Yeah, felt so shitty, I came home early. Gonna lay down for a while and then take Jordana to the vet. Hopefully this is just me being worried, but she's been acting off lately.

Everything but 3 and 16 are right...although you're on the right track for 3...it is obviously a vampire movie...dude, do they say something similar in Dead and Loving It? Its been years since I saw that...

And dang I just realized I forgot an EVEN more obscure vampire movie (2 actually) than number 3!

I'm not sure...I haven't seen all of the movie, only bits and pieces. It just seemed like something that would be a joke in the movie.

I love Hocus Pocus; it makes me laugh when I see Binks 'cause I watch Tim Murray on NCIS (lol)

Yeah, it probably would be. But that line is said with absolute seriousness in the movie its in. I'm gonna wait another couple of days (and see if LittleOwl logs in) and then reveal the ones that weren't gotten.

*giggles* I watched NCIS for like 3 years before I realized it was him! Although you know the cat doesn't have his voice, right? I can't remember who it is, but Sean Murray's voice didn't sound right so they dubbed over it (*giggles* at the mangling of his name--real name Sean Murray...NCIS name Tim McGee--love how you combined the two!)

I know how it is; sometime I keep refering to Michael W. as Tony or Logan (he'll always be Logan to me despite the fact that I watched Dark Angel long after I started watching NCIS).

as for the writing, I've got a couple of stuff in progress. One is a Who/Torchwood/SGA fic and the other is a Torchwood fic I'm co-writing with a friend. They're both moving slow, only because I just started a new term at school while working and looking for a second job (dang recession...lol).

Its okay I call Michael W both names too cuz I watched Dark Angel too. And yes, I watched DA after watching NCIS too.

Um, I have a couple of Numb3rs fics I'm trying to finish and SGA-2 Saves the World. And I have a co-fic with someone I really should finish, but haven't made any moves in that direction.

We just moved and I have a new job...that I need to get my act together at cuz grades are due tomorrow and I'm only 3/4 done instead of all done. Other than that...I've got a cold. And I'm a Soldiers' Angel.

lmao, I feel kinda dumb for not getting it at first. I was looking at it and thinking that it was familar then it hit me. It's been forever since I watched the movie, I giggle every time I see James Spader as Daniel ^-^

They had really, really stupid quotes up for the movie on IMDB...I almost searched for the transcript and picked something else--but I do love that line. There was another one I was thinking of, but I can't remember it now.

The funny part? About half those lines (above) I can do without looking them up! Or at least get pretty close to them! I used to play a game similar to this with my best friend growing up--to entertain us in the car.

I didn't put up one of my absolute favorites because its a dead giveaway "I feel the need, the need for speed." (And I think Magi used it to or at least she used a Top Gun one if I remember correctly).

the line from Serenity is my absolute favorite! lol. that and the one from the blooper reel where Alan says 'Go back to the part where Jayne got beat up by a 90 year old man...with...man boobs.' ^-^

Yeah, well those didn't last long with us. We got bored really, really fast. (Too smart, too easy to cheat).

*snort* Yes, Alan. I love Alan. And his deadpan delivery "Oh, god, oh, god, we're all going to die."

Mine is "Faster, faster. Faster would be better!" Which wasn't even scripted! Joss told Nathan he needed a line there--Nathan came up with that one and Joss threw the script into the air and said "Why'd I bother with a script?!"

Personally I think that entire cast is about two short steps left of sanity (even Sean as much as he swears he's sane), but that's half of what makes them so FUN!
