One: People who have been tagged write their answers on their blog and replace any question that they dislike with a new, original question.

Two: Tag eight some people. Don't tag who tagged you.

I'm not going to tag anyone, but if you want to play, I'd happily read your answers.

[1] Make a list of 5 things you can see:
Portable DVD player, desktop computer, Jordana, TV, bookcase, black roses in vase

[2] What do you do when you can't sleep?
read or write

[3]Do you like to cook/bake? *new question*
Yeah...sometimes. I like to experiment and it doesn't always come out right. I love to bake, but rarely have the energy. I enjoy baking for my soldiers.

[4] What's your favorite song?
Depends on my mood. Have been enjoying Chris Kane lately. Love his "Whiskey in Mind", "Different Kind of Knight", "Sweet Carolina Rain", and "Oklahoma State of Mind". Also love "What's the Rumpus?" and "Slim Jim and the Seven Eleven Girl" by Gaelic Storm and pretty much anything Sean McKweon plays (ya just need to hear the man play).

[5] Do you nap a lot?
Not really. I work all day and then have things to do when I get home so I don't have time. Plus I don't sleep well during the day. That said, I lay down today with my siblings' portable DVD player and watched TV with my eyes closed.

[6] What was your first car?
1988 Chevy Celebrity--battleship gray! I LOVED that car!

[7] What's currently annoying you?
My stomach because it's hurting for no apparent reason. Plus having to go to work tomorrow, yet being scheduled for a professional day. But still having to actually go to my building and be there for the first three periods.

[8] What was the last thing you ate today?
toast with cinnamon and sugar

[9] What was the last text message you received?
from Michael "Goodnite!! Happy Easter! Give ur lil friend my number"

[10] What websites do you always visit when you go online?
writing.com, lj, google

[11] What was the last thing you bought?
bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and a pepsi

[12] What are you listening to right now?
Leverage--The 12 Step Job

[13] What was the last movie you saw?
Max Payne with Daren and we were not impressed. Last one in the theater--Fast and the Furious...much better!

[14] What is your zodiac sign?
Virgo

[15] What is your favorite weather, and why?
Warm (not hot) so 65-70, sunny. We had gorgeous weather when I was in Savannah most of last week

[16] How far do you live from your place of employment?
Depending on traffic--20-45 minutes

[17] Do you have any siblings?
I do. I have an adopted brother and sister who were both born in Vietnam, plus a friend who might as well have been adopted and pretty much everyone thinks she IS my sister

[18] What is your favorite color?
pretty much all shades of blue

[19] Who is your favorite actor or actress?
Don't really have a favorite, but I have a few that I'll watch pretty much anything they're in.
Actresses: Amanda Tapping, Keira Knightly
Actors: Chris Kane, Dylan Bruno, Kavan Smith, Carmine Giovinazzio, can't think of anyone else

[20] Say something to the person who tagged you:
Hi, [livejournal.com profile] angelskuuipo *waves* The DVDs are AWESOME! Totally awesome sauce! I've been watching them for the last few hours and I love them!

Yay! I'm glad they're playing okay.

So, you like Celtic music, too? Were we separated at birth or something? Have you ever listened to Clannad or Leahy?

They are. I watched the second and third discs today. Can't play them on my TV, but it's not the discs...I discovered today the TV did get wet and it won't let me play DVDs or tapes. *face palm* so added that to the list.

Yes, I love Celtic/Irish music! LOL we may very well have been! Part of the draw with Storm and Sean is I've met them...and they are truly nice people. Met them years ago and have been following them. Don't get to see them nearly as often as I'd like. Actually met Sean in Canada before they started touring in the US. He is completely awesome and plays with the Tartan Terrors now--when he's not defending his title.

I like Clannad, although I haven't heard anything recent by them. I don't believe I've ever heard Leahy. I've also heard Floggin' Molly, Enter the Haggis (wasn't impressed), Altan, Ashley MacIssac (was impressed), um, can't think of anyone else off the top of my head, but could check things later. I've seen Haggis in concert and really wasn't impressed--LOL neither was Storm--Patrick made some really disparaging comments.

I haven't heard anything recent from Clannad either. I'll have to dig my Leahy disc out when I get back home. I'll have to check out Altan and Ashley MacIssac.

Do you like Loreena McKinnett? I've seen her perform live and it was amazing.

I'm not entirely positive that Clannad is still around. I'd have to look into that. *is wracking her brain trying to remember the group a friend listens to and knows, but just can't remember* Altan is very traditional, along the lines of Clannad. Ashley--goes back and forth. I haven't listened to a ton of his newer stuff, but "Hi, How Are you?" and "Fine, Thank You Very Much" are both very good.

Mmmm, I didn't much like Loreena McKinnett; I felt she got too commercialized too quickly. Have you heard The Corrs? Their early stuff was good--similar to U2, but then again I haven't heard anything recent by them.
